Eucalyptus vs Cotton?
- Less Water Usage: 95% less water used than traditional cotton production – 150 litres vs. 3,000 litres.
- No Farmable Land: Grown on non-farmable land in biodiverse forests – cotton uses 2.5% of the world’s arable land.
- No Toxic Chemicals: No pesticides, herbicides or toxic chemicals are used in our process – cotton uses ~2,000.
- 30% Less Energy: It takes about 19 kWh to make our sheets, compared with 27 kWh for cotton sheets
- Closed Loop: 99% of the chemicals, water and waste is then reused in the unique closed loop system.

Delivery times range from 3 to 17 business days, depending on destination and carrier.
Our delivery prices:
- Switzerland courier delivery - CHF 11 (4-8 Days)
- EU countries courier delivery - CHF 11 (4-8 Days)
- UK courier delivery - FREE (3-5 Days)

Duties, Taxes & Refused Deliveries
For all international orders, import duties, local taxes, and customs fees are the full responsibility of the recipient. These are not always included at checkout and may be charged by your local customs office upon arrival.
If you:
- Refuse delivery due to unpaid duties
- Fail to collect the parcel from customs or a delivery point
- Or if the parcel is returned to us due to these reasons
Then:
- No refund will be issued unless the item is returned to us in perfect condition
- If returned, any refund will be reduced by shipping, customs, and handling charges
- If the item is lost, abandoned or destroyed, no refund will be possible
- Please check your local import rules before ordering internationally.

Refund Policy
You may return eligible items within 14 days of delivery, provided that:
- Items are unused, unwashed, and in resellable condition
- Original packaging is intact and undamaged
- You initiate the return via your Ethical Bedding customer account
- You have proof of purchase or order confirmation
We cannot accept returns for opened, used, or visibly handled items.
Non-Returnable Items
For hygiene, sustainability, and product integrity reasons, the following cannot be returned or refunded:
- Mattresses & Beds – These are made to order. Once unboxed, they are no longer eligible for return or refund.
- Custom orders – Any item made to your custom specifications is final sale.
- Opened, washed, or used bedding
- Items returned without original packaging
- Free gifts or promotional items
How to Initiate a Return
To request a refund, you need to create an account with SIS. Under your profile, go to Orders, click Refund next to the item you want to return or contact SIS customer service at [email protected]. Please do not send your item back without creating a return request. Unauthorised returns may be rejected or incur further handling fees.
Restocking Fee
All accepted returns are subject to a 25% restocking fee, which helps cover inspection, repackaging, and warehouse handling.
Return Shipping
Customers are responsible for arranging and paying return postage.
- We do not offer prepaid labels.
- We recommend using a tracked postal service and keeping proof of postage.
If a return is lost in transit, we cannot issue a refund.

Refunds
Once your return is received and inspected, we’ll notify you by email.
If approved:
- Your refund will be processed back to the original payment method
- Please allow 5–10 business days for the funds to appear
- Original shipping costs are non-refundable, even on approved returns.
Gifts
If the item was marked as a gift at the time of purchase:
- Refunds will only be issued to the original purchaser
- Store credit may be offered at our discretion
Cancellation / Return / Exchange Policy
We do not offer standard exchanges.
As soon as you discover a faulty, a missing or a damaged item, please email us at [email protected] with the following information:
- The order number
- The faulty item's name and number
- A description of the issue

International Orders: Duties, Refusals, and Returns
All international customers are responsible for any applicable import duties, taxes, or customs charges. These are not included at checkout and are determined by your local customs office.
If an international shipment is refused or returned to us for any reason (e.g. duties unpaid, incorrect address, delivery refusal), the following applies:
- Original shipping costs are non-refundable
- A 25% handling and restocking fee will be deducted
- Any courier-imposed return shipping fees will also be deducted from the refund
- Refunds are only considered and processed once the item is returned to us in its original, resellable condition
