Chanderi, a beautiful city in Madhya Pradesh, India, gave its name to this fine fabric. The Purple Temple Flower Scarf is hand-woven and then dyed with the colours of nature, their colours splashed on the surface. The rose flowers rejected from the temples give the fabric its mauve hue, while touches of sappan wood were sprinkled with the wind. In the morning light, we see the brightest mirages of colour emerging from this scarf, reminiscent of his eventful journey through rural towns and temples.
